Key Service Features
Replacement servers
Standby DRS server/s are left permanently running within our data
centre, primed and ready to receive your backed up data from our vaults. Once completed
and tested, the DRS server/s can then be shipped to your offices or to an alternative
location within the UK mainland, remaining there until your own server/s have been
repaired and re-instated.
Advanced Deployment
In the event of an invocation, your most recent and complete back-up data set will
be restored to the standby DRS server/s, ready for shipping. Alternatively, the standby
DRS servers can remain within the data centre and made ‘live’ across our secure and
high speed internet connection to your users, should your applications permit this.
Trial Data Restore
Included in the service is an annual trial data restore (the process of copying your entire data from your OLB storage vault onto the ‘standby’ DRS server/s, performed within oncore IT’s facility. We will inform you of the dates for the trial data restore and should you wish to verify its success, we are happy for you to also attend.
